Dr. Joanna Murray has been an asset to the Martin Eyecare team since 2016. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry after completing her Bachelor’s Degree from Union University.

Dr. Murray emphasizes the connection between a healthy lifestyle, proper nutrition, and maintaining good vision. She is skilled in prescribing corrective eyewear, whether it’s glasses or contact lenses, tailored to each patient’s unique needs. Heather Pope joined Martin Eyecare in 2013 and quickly established herself as an invaluable team member. Over the years, she has shined by taking on increasing responsibilities, eventually rising to the position of office manager. Heather oversees day-to-day operations, coordinates patient care, and ensures a seamless experience for everyone who walks through the door. Her dedication and leadership contribute significantly to the clinic’s success.

Outside of work, Heather finds tranquility in kayaking and fishing. Her enjoyment of the outdoors and her diligence in eye care exemplifies her well balanced approach to life.

Karin Surratt is an experienced optician with a keen eye for style and a passion for personalized eyewear. She ensures patients not only see well but also feel confident in their frames. Since 2016, Karin has been an integral part of the Martin Eyecare team. Her commitment to exceptional service and attention to detail make her a trusted advisor for patients seeking the perfect pair of glasses.

Amanda McDearmon, our dedicated ophthalmic technician, has been an integral part of the Martin Eyecare team since 2010. Rachael Storey is a multifaceted asset to our eye care team. With her warm and friendly personality, she ensures that every patient feels welcome and well-cared-for. As an ophthalmic technician, she expertly prepares patients for exams, performs ocular disease testing, and advanced dry eye treatments. But Rachael’s skills don’t stop there!
